Thomas C. Poe

Thomas C. Poe, 81, of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, September 19, 2009. He was born July 13, 1928 in Romance, Arkansas a son of the late Daniel R. and Jessie (Roland) Poe. He was a Korean War Veteran, a plumber and a member of the Local 155 Union and was a member of the Chicot Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Charlene Mathis Poe, two sons, Bruce Poe of Little Rock and David Poe and his wife Sheila of Rose City; two daughters, Sheila Elliott and her husband Larry of Glenwood, Arkansas and Debra Breaux and her husband Dalton of Killeen, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his sister, Sarah Thompson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 23rd at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Brother Sam Whitlow and Brother Randy Lee officiating. Burial will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mayflower Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
