Theodore (Ted) Allen Gifford

Theodore (Ted) Allen Gifford, 72 of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2009. He was born March 4, 1937 in Oakland, California to the late Frank Cannon and Dorothy Edith Gifford. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years in 1976. He served three tours of duty in Southeast Asia. He retired from Pepsi Cola after 21 years in 2002. He was a member of the Church at Willow Beach. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris L. Spann Gifford; sons, Bradley and David; daughters, Joanna, Valerie and Sheila; grandchildren, Matthew Gifford, Jacob Shroyer, Robert Tuggle, Davynn and Gabriel Gifford, Daniel and Emily Eubanks; great grandchildren, Suzzie and Sydnie Eubanks and Caden Stevens; sister, Dawn Hughes and husband, Charles; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Reverend Roy Tilley officiating. Burial to follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
