Judy Ann Nazarenko

of Cotter, AR

March 12, 1951 - October 10, 2018

A Celebration of Life will be held for Judy Nazarenko, age 67 of Cotter, AR at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Visitation will be at 2:30 PM with Pastor Sam Bailey officiating. Following the service, burial will take place at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter.
Judy was the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Wilkins and was born on March 12, 1951 in Morrisville, Vermont. Judy married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Bill Nazarenko, on June 29, 1969 and they enjoyed over 49 wonderful years together.
Judy was known for her delicious cooking, especially her bread and poppy seed chicken, and will forever be remembered as ''Judy Dinner Bell'', however, she never wanted to only be remembered for her cooking. Judy was first and foremost a born-again believer in the life-changing blood of her Savior Jesus Christ! She lived her life to bring glory to Christ in serving others selflessly! Judy loved all things beautiful because she knew that the beauty around us was a reflection of Christ's love for us. The beautiful colors of the flowers and the wonderful songs of the birds, all were gifts from our Savior and were meant to be cherished and adored! Judy spared no effort to make everyone around her feel that they were always welcomed and would go to whatever length was necessary to treat everyone like royalty. Judy tirelessly labored, not for the attention, the accolades or the recognition, she labored because she knew that Christ's calling on her life was to love the Lord your God with all your heart first, and to love your neighbor as yourself second (Matthew 22:36-40).
Judy will be joining both of her parents in heaven and her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her Children: Vikki (Chris) Francis of Cotter, AR, Jason (Kammi) Nazarenko of Big Rock, TN; Eight Grandchildren: Joshua, Jordan, Landon, Annelise, Blake, and Remington Francis, Samantha (Andrew) Stanley and Charles Nazarenko; Sister: Bonnie Swanic, Brother: Jerry Wilkins and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
Arrangements are the under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Please visit our online guest book at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/mtnhome.

I was fortunate to sit next to Judy when we attended my husband John’s high school
reunion. She had a way of making everyone she met feel at ease, as did Bill. We both would like to extend our sympathy to the Nazarenko family for the loss of this wonderful woman. Rest assured she is with our Lord.

Judy lite up the room when she walked in with her beautiful smile, love that she showed everyone she met, the way she wanted everyone to feel welcomed, like they were life long friends when you may have just met her, and the way she wanted everyone to feel loved. She showed people her love through her unmatched gift of cooking. I will never forget the day I sent with her one afternoon outside talking about the flowers, gardening, and visiting about anything we could think of. I'm honoured to have known Judy and the heavens are rejoicing with her. I'm praying for you Bill and your whole family. Bill you and Judy both have a very special place in my heart for you two.

Vikki and family, so sorry for your loss. Didn't know Judy but worked with Vikki at the Lab.in cassettes. Vikki was a real nice person and seems like her mother was too. Prayers for the family.

Judy and Bill were neighbors of ours at Point Mugu California and we were blessed to be a part of their lives for our time their. Judy was always putting others first and it was very easy to see Christ in the Nazarenko family. We love all of you. We will miss hearing from Judy but will never forget her. She is I. Her glory now with the savior. Prayers and hugs to the family, I am very sorry for your loss. Until we all meet again one day up yonder, much love to you all.

Memories of Judy will always make me laugh/smile. Some of my earliest memories are visits from or to you all. She was a constant in my life and for my kids too. We love you so much Bill and wish we could be there with the rest of the family right now, but we count ourselves blessed to have spent last weekend with her in Dallas, celebrating a joyous occasion. She looked wonderful and happy, and so did you. That's what I will remember.

Love,

Your baby sister Chrissie and family

Daniele and I along with everyone on the Son Shine Ministries' team love the Nazarenkos! Judy and Bill and their children, Jason and Vikki (and their families), are truly like family to us. We cherish our many memories. Judy was one of the finest Christians we have known. We will miss her terribly but already anticipate a great reunion one day. Each of the family members is in our prayers.
