Roy Lee Nesselrode, Sr., age 66, of Pyatt, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at Baxter Regional Medical Center with the love of his life, Mary Castor by his side. Mr. Nesselrode was born April 29, 1952 in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Roy was a painting contractor most of his life. Fishing and hunting were two of his biggest joys in life. Roy had a deep love for music and dancing. He will be dearly missed by his family and all that knew him.
Mr. Nesselrode is survived by his life companion, Mary Castor; parents, Murl and Jeanice Manning; one son, Roy Lee Nesselrode, Jr.; two daughters: Amy and Nikki Nesselrode; seven grandchildren: Hunter Nesselrode, Nick Buster, Stockton Mathews, Wyatt Mathews, Evie Shawn, Maddy Shawn, and Ben Shawn; one sister, Paula Manning; a niece, Alexandra Vincent, and a nephew, Jackson Vincent.
Memorial Services will be held at 9:00am Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Snow Full Gospel Church, 5323 Hwy 62 West, Yellville, Arkansas with Pastor Brent Fisk officiating. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Roy gave me a job when I neede one and taught me a whole lot about all kinds of painting.We became good friends and worked together on many jobs over the years.We made hard dirty work as much fun as we could and had so many good times.Got to busy with life and didn’t keep up with my friend,wish I would have stayed in touch.Thank you Roy for all the times we had we will miss you Your friend always PJ

So very sorry to hear of Roy's passing. We were neighbors from the time he moved to Ashdown in our high school years. We remained friends throughout our life even if we became separated over the years. I always enjoyed being around Roy...never a dull moment!!! My deepest condolences to his family.
