Kathy Garrett Golightly, 68, of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. Kathy was born on December 29, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Ralph and Reola Fern (Rutherford) Garrett.
Kathy married the love of her life, Roy Lee Golightly on June 28, 1968 in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma. She was a devoted housewife all of her life. She loved to garden and go antiquing. Kathy was an excellent cook and baker. She will be dearly missed by all of those that knew her.
Kathy is survived by: her husband, Roy Lee; one son, Richard (Tiffany) Golightly of Manhattan, Kansas; a daughter, Holly Golightly of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Kile, John, Michael, and Joshua Golightly; her mother, Reola Fern Garrett of Huntsville, Arkansas; three sisters: Peggy Garrett of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Lesa (Tom) Vasquez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Terri (Terry) Simmons of Elkins, Arkansas; two brothers: Glenn (Linda) Garrett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Dan (Leah) Garrett of Choctaw, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Melba Miller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Ralph Garrett.
Visitation will be held from 1-2pm Monday June 4, 2018 at Harmony Church in Clarksville, Arkansas. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Harmony Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we get from God.
