Mrs. Alta Marie Coleman, 86, of Cotter, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 in Gassville. Mrs. Alta was born in Seminole, Texas on March 1, 1932 to Leon Durham and Willie E. (Sutherlin) Crapps.
Mrs. Coleman and her late husband, Clyde, loved to travel so much that they visited every state in the United States at least once except for Hawaii. She also enjoyed going to Garage Sale, but most of all she enjoyed her family.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her son, Edward Chesney (Catherine) of Mountain Home, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, Also surviving is a sister, June Gray of Magnolia, Mississippi and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Lynn Chesney. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Kenneth E. Chesney.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Earl Cruse officiating. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
