I had the great pleasure of working with Arnold, better known to us in law enforcement by his badge number of 250, when I first began my career in 911 dispatching in Minden. After coming to Kearney I didn't get to see him as much but I have always remembered his sense of humor, his quiet strength and his love of life. He taught me a great deal about dealing with those we have contact with each day and turning over the hard stuff to the "man above". My favorite though was the fact he would do 50 mph in a 55 mph speed zone just to "make them think"..... very few had the daring to pass him.

My condolences to go out to his family and I hope it helps that he touched many, many lives.
