Mrs. Vivian E. Kalz, age 96 of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Mountain Home. She was born July 7, 1920 in St. Louis, MO to Frank Winter and Leona Seckel Winter. She married Anthony Kalz on Nov. 27, 1943 in St. Louis. Mrs. Kalz was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, fishing with her husband, raising her hydrangias and trips to Branson. Her greatest passion was spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 73 years Anthony Kalz of Mountain Home; 3 sons: Ronald Kalz of Branson, MO, Dennis (Linda) Kalz of Baldwin, MO and Richard (Janice) Kalz of Mountain Home; a son-in-law Ray Rockwell of O'Fallon, MO; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and a brother, Glen (Marty) Winter of St. Charles, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Donna Rockwell and daughter-in-law Doris Kalz. Visitation will be from Noon until 8 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 until 8 PM. A vigil service will be held at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday September 23, 2016 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church conducted by Reverend Norbert Rappold. Entombment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Hope. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Ozarks.
