Judy and I were so shocked and saddened with the news of Janet's passing. I have great memories of Janet and her family growing up in Roselle and later at Apple Canyon Lake - we were cousins as my sister Carole Townsend wrote in an earlier message. Our thought and prayers are with her family.

Bob, I know exactly how you are feeling, having lost my beloved Lydia last year. Nothing makes sense, the dearest thing in your life is gone, but she is in your heart and fond memories of your life together. The pain eases with time, but even now I expect Lydia to walk through the door. There are no words that can ease your pain, only the thought that you will be together again someday. My sincere wishes to you and your family.

Those twinkling eyes, I would look at Janet's eyes and start smiling because I knew she was going to come out with one of her one-liners, and then I would have to laugh. Her joyful personality kept our neighborhood uplifted more than she could ever realize. I shall miss Janet; we shall all miss her. When I need a happy thought, I'll conjure up the memory of Janet's face...and those twinkling eyes! My heart felt condolences I send to her family.

I have lots of wonderful memories of growing up together in Illinois! Holidays, birthdays and even camping together. We loved spending time with the Troykes!!! So sorry your life was cut so short and for all the love ones you left behind. Hopefully they will find comfort in their memories of you and in knowing you are in a better place.
Love and prayers to all,
Cathy

I have know Janet her entire life as her Dad and mine were cousins and in retirement lived next door to each other. We visited often growing up, and had lots of fun times together, which I will always remember. I am so deeply sad that she is no longer with us. May you take some comfort in knowing that she no longer suffers from this horrible disease. We mourn her passing, but know we will all be reunited in Heaven. God's blessings and comfort to you all. Much Love, Carole and Bob

I was so sorry to hear of Janet's illness and subsequent passing. I knew her through our painting club. She was a kind and friendly person with a fun-loving spirit. I enjoyed her sense of humor and I greatly admired her painting skills. One of my treasured possessions is a tote bag she painted that I won in one of our club's holiday raffle games. Like her, it is cheerful and colorful. I will miss her. She was truly one of a kind. I hope that her family will find comfort in knowing that all of us share your loss and that her spirit will live on in our memories too. God bless you all.

Zink and I cannot express enough how sorry we are of Janet's passing. She took so much care when Zink was finding those open doors and always available to me when I pestered her with questions about activities in the Tri-Village area. Thank you Bob for sharing your wife, spouse and partner with us.
