Elmore Hearst Salisbury II was born in Bishop, California on November 5, 1935. His parents were Noel W. and Dortha (Davis) Salisbury. Elmore died May18, 2016 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Services for him were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Monday, May 23, 2016 and interment followed on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Baxter Memorial Gardens, where he was laid to rest beside his first wife, Mary. He saw active service with the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Throughout his days of active employment, Elmore made many significant contributions to the defense of the U.S.A. His special engineering skills and knowledge are still being utilized in that he helped create many of the leading-edge technologies used today. Elmore is survived by his wife, Michelle, his sons, Elmore Salisbury III and Noel Salisbury, his daughter Linda Jensen, eleven grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
