Zelda Mae Wyman, 95
A Memorial Service for Zelda Wyman of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 1:00pm, Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Twin Lakes Cremation Society & Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Pastor Donnie Hudson officiating. Zelda passed away January 12, 2016, in Bull Shoals at the age of 95. She was born January 3, 1921, in Berryville, Arkansas, the daughter of Carrie and John Shoup. Her family later moved to Bentonville, Arkansas where she attended school, met, and married the ''love of her life'' Don Ewing Wyman. Together they had four sons, John Charles, Robert William, James Donald, and David Lee.
Zelda was a homemaker and community volunteer. The Wyman family moved to Bull Shoals in 1955, and have maintained a permanent residence there since. Zelda, Don, and David moved to Dardanelle, Arkansas and then the Panama Canal Zone. Upon Don's retirement from the Canal Zone, Zelda and Don returned to their home in Bull Shoals. Zelda was active in her churches, having served in the choir and as a Sunday school teacher at Bull Shoals Methodist Church and Choir member at Dardanelle Methodist Church. She was also an original member of the Bull Shoals Survivor's Club. Zelda volunteered in and then managed a thrift store in Canal Zone for many years. She was also a volunteer in the Bull Shoals Little Bit Used thrift store.
Zelda is survived by: son, David; daughter-in-law Linda; six grandsons Paul, Andrew, John Jr., James, Zach, and Josh; four granddaughters Yvette, Donna, Margaret Ann, and Susan; five great granddaughters Henrietta, Taylor, Carolann, Victoria, and McKenna; and five great grandsons Lance, Andre, Jake, Matthew, and Patrick.
Zelda was a Christian who devoted her life to her family and serving others. Those who knew her best will always remember her as an ''angel on earth''.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.

Please accept my deep sympathy for your loss. I hope that you find comfort in the fact that Jesus compares death to sleep … meaning that death is temporary for all those who are sleeping in the grave. God can awaken the dead just as we can awaken a person from sleep. Our heavenly Father lovingly gives us a solid basis for having confidence in his promise to reunite us with our dead loved ones.

~ John 11:11-14; John 5:28, 29; Luke 7:11-17; John 11:39-44.
