Mr. Steven Ray Harrison, age 66 of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Mountain Home just 3 months shy of his 67th birthday. He was born October 17, 1948 at Elliott Hospital in Appleton City, MO to Walter ''Ray'' Harrison and Emogene Harrison. He married Carolyn Scott and had two children, Lance and Karen.
Steven was very proud of his father's service to our country in WWII. His father Walter was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, a member of the Mighty 8th 349th Squadron. Walter served as a ball turret gunner on a B17 Bomber. Steven moved to Mountain Home in 1993 with his parents. He was employed by T and I Trailer and later installed boat docks for Lakeland Industries.
Steven is survived by his mother, Emogene Harrison of Mountain Home; ex-wife Carolyn of Memphis; 2 children: Lance Harrison and Karen Barnes, both of Memphis; a granddaughter, Christina; 2 siblings, Jack Harrison and Dona Harrison;4 nieces, Misty, Jackie, Darlene and Stacy.
Graveside services were held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Walker Cemetery in Mountain Home.
