Thomas Briggs Harrison Jr., of Yellville, Arkansas was born in Audubon, New Jersey in 1941 to Thomas Briggs Harrison Sr., and Dorothy Rita Harrison. He died in Yellville at the home of his daughter Kimberly, January 6, 2015. He was 73 years old.
Tom married Anita Kathleen Steele in Peach Orchard, Arkansas July 7, 1963. He was an alumnus of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from the position of Senior Project Engineer (US Navy) at Newport Shipbuilding and Dry-dock in Virginia. He also was an accomplished organist, began the study of organ at age 9, was an understudy at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City at age 16 and was an organ performance major at Westminster Choir College. During this period he performed many recitals in the Philadelphia and New York City area.
Tom and his late wife Kathy, lived in various parts of the country, enjoyed going to the beach and spending hours together. The Harrisons moved to Yellville, Arkansas 15 years ago and were successful supporters of the Humane Society of Marion County Arkansas. They opened a thrift shop and worked unselfishly to support their cause of helping the orphaned, hurt and abandoned animals in the area.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly, and her husband Chad Johnson of Yellville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Kathy.
A private interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens in Mountain Home, Arkansas where he will be with his beloved wife. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Marion County Arkansas. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.

Tommy and Kathy had a very special relationship with each other and with you. There was a bond that will not be broken, you still have their love in your heart and wonderful memories. Be strong and know you are loved. You and Chad are in my thoughts and prayers.
