I wish Sam would have had things a little easier. My heart is broken at his sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I will miss you Sammy.

I am just devastated by the news of Sams passing. I had the pleasure of working with Sam at Baxter Hospital for many years. My wife and I considered Sam a wonderful friend. I saw him develop and grow over the years in his profession. I wish life had been kinder to Sam as he was a wonderful man and deserved more from life. John & Alta Ferguson

I didn't have the privilege of knowing Sam until a year or so ago. He showed up at our weekly jam session at my pole barn one Wednesday night with one of the regular players. From then on Sam never missed a Wednesday night. He was a great addition to group and became a friend to us all. One night we were playing and Sam found an electric bass sitting around and decided to try it, he had a ball and became our regular bass player, he enjoyed it enough to get his own bass. This last summer he started playing bass with a local band. All the guys from Wednesday night will miss Sam, I'm sure he's playing music in a better place right now.

Sam was truly a great person to know. I had worked with Sam at Abraham Medical Center for six year's. Sam had a heart of gold. He would drive our patient's to the emergency room if they needed to go. One occasion our patient ran out of gas and couldn't get to there appointment. Sam went to get gas for the patient so he made the appointment. I was so excited to hear that he started a new job in Calico Rock Hospital. He will truly be missed by his friend's. My prayer's go to Ms Ruth and other family members .During this time of sadness.Sam, you truly will be missed.

Steve and I want to express our sincere condolences to Ruth, Earlene, Tom and all of Sam's family. It was such a shock to hear of his death. One of my fondest memories of Sam is when he and Tom would play their guitars and sing an enthusiastic version of "Shortnin' Bread" -- we all enjoyed it, but I especially enjoyed seeing the glee with which my dad viewed it -- he really got a kick out of it. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all through the difficult days ahead.

In 1993 I started working in radiology with Sam, I don't think I would have made it If it hadn't been for Sam. We worked together for many years. He was always willing to help any one that needed help. We would have a little spat now and then, but we always remained friends. He was a very special person. I shall always feel blessed for having known him. You have my deepest sympathy. THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

It is only natural to feel sad when a precious loved one is no longer with you. Ecclesiastes 3:4 says there is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to wail and a time to dance. God gives you a reason for joy and a basis for hope as you grieve the loss of your beloved deceased … John 3:16.
