Randy Ferretti.
I called him my best friend, once, and I was so fiercely loyal to him that I abandoned both intelligence and common sense. I could have been a better friend by being a little more mature. Probably we both would have been better off.
He could always make me laugh. Even if every other memory fades, that one never will: no matter how angry I might be, no matter how much willpower I used to keep my face blank, he could make me laugh just by counting to three. Except we never got to three. He'd just give me that Randy grin and raise a finger to count "one," and I'd lose it.
I always believed that one day we'd get together as mature adults and reminisce about the time we went a little crazy. I can't even begin to say how devastated I was to discover this page. But I've read the comments here, and it's clear to me that Randy had a full, rich life, surrounded by love, and that he never stopped making people laugh. The world is a sadder place without his smile.
My deepest condolences and warm regards to his family, and all those who loved him.
I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in our God, Jehovah.
I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in our God, and the Father of our Lord, Jehovah.
Randy, I will miss your posts on facebook about your runs and your interesting article links! You were always kind to me and all your coworkers. I remember you in nursing school always sitting in the back and so quiet. Then after graduation you just took off so fast, excelling at anything you tried. Your family is just precious. Stacy, i'm so sorry for you. I've been living in grief the last year and will be right next door when you go back to work if you need to talk, vent, cry, scream, whatever. I'm thinking of you and praying for you all.
Stacey, you have my very deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband. There is little anyone can say to console you, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this tragic time.

God Bless our Familes and anyone who was ever lucky enough to know Randy.. Forever your Family.... Mike & Dawn

I will always remember his winning smile and how he was willing to give it to anyone who didn't have one. I always enjoyed working with him. God Bless you and your family. Barb
We are so shocked and surprised by Randy's passing. We remember his early years in MH. We have been so proud of his accomplishments. He seemed happy and looked happy, but guess we'll never know what demons were hiding behind that smile! Know that we along with so many of your friends are praying for you and your family!
Dear Randy aka "Randolph" or "The Boss Man", lol. We all just want to let you know how much we miss you already. The girls and I were just talking about how we miss every morning you would walk into the infirmary after clocking in and asking each of us how our mornings were with a huge smile on your face, we miss your signature wave hello, your coffee addiction, your leadership, your laughs, but most of all your corny jokes....ohhhh Randy how your jokes were terribly hilarious, but yet we always laughed, lol.
Stacy, Randy loved you so much, you were always a part of a conversation. Primarily your cooking skills, I think we all gained some weight from all your sweet deserts you made for us, lol. It was always the first dish to go. Randy couldn’t wait to show it off to the group.
Stacy, if you ever feel you need someone or something, don’t hesitate to ask. Randy was our family here and will always remain that way.
May God heal your broken hearts,
Love always,
NCU Infirmary staff
