Mrs. Wood was the kindest caring devoted lady who worked very hard as a mentor to all.
Carolyn,
I have fond memories of your mother. She was my primary consultant in the MHHS library during my years there. I would never say I know how you feel at your loss. I lost my mother in 2006 so I know how I felt. I will pray for you during the next few months.

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Wood. She was a fantastic teacher. I remember her well from the school library. Also enjoyed being a fellow student with her daughter Carolyn. Lord bless you as you experience this great loss.
To the entire extended family,
So sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Mike and Dianna Roller
I adored Mrs. Wood! She was very special to me. I will never forget her kind, but firm manner in "crowd control" with a bunch of chatty teenagers. I used some of her methods in my own classes. She was a wonderful, caring lady.
WE HAVE MANY GREAT MEMORIES OF UNCLE THURMAN AND AUNT NORMA. AUNT NORMA STAYED WITH MOTHER AND DAD ONE SCHOOL TERM WHILE UNCLE THURMAN WAS IN COLLEGE AT FAYETTEVILLE. SHE WILL BE MISSED, OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH CAROLYN AND FAMILY
Carolyn and Family

Your mother had a large impact on my school
years and life. She will always be loved and missed.
Mrs Wood was such a wonderful influence on so many of the students at MHHS. She was our library club sponser, and taught me to appreciate books and the love of reading. I will always have fond memories of this sweet, caring lady. Praying for her family at this time. Sincerely Donella DePriest Dulworth
A wonderful and gracious lady. She truly cares about students and worked hard to provide support in educational materials for students and faculty. She will be missed.
A caring lady who had a tremendous on me
as a student at MHHS and later as an adult.
She was a educator's educator.
To a wonderful person who took me under her wing and taught me how to be a High School Principal when we came to Mtn. Home in 1957, Her guidance, understanding and patience will be remembered forever. Tears, to a kind Christian lady.
She was a wonderful person. I remember her and Larry as great friends to me in school. She will be missed as was Larry.
We are so thankful for the gracious guidance and dedicated service of Norma Wood's life. Her giving spirit will continue to bless this community for generations to come.
Norma will be greatly missed by all. I was honored to know such a great lady that helped the community. It was a great pleasure to be given the opportunity to take care of her. I will surely miss her!
