Mr. Earl C. Young

Earl C. Young, age 86, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1925, in Gassville, Arkansas to Aaron W. and Sadie (Napier) Young.
Mr. Young married Vernece Moser Price December 23, 1979, in Mountain Home. He was retired from the Mountain Home Fire Department and Century Communications in Mountain Home. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife: Vernece Young of Mountain Home, two daughters: Sheila King and husband Paul of Mountain Home and Phyllis Wilcox and husband George of San Antonio, Texas, a step-daughter: Judy Sherrill and husband Donnie of Bogata, Texas, two step-sons: Ralph Price and wife Peggy and Roe Price and wife Bunny all of Calico Rock, Arkansas, two brother-in-laws: Wayne Lofton of Duncanville, Texas and Ed Lofton of Little Rock, Arkansas, five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Georgie Young, a sister: Irene Lofton and a brother: Clarence Young.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
