Mr. Hershell L. Brazeal
April 7, 1924 - May 16, 2012

Hershell L. Brazeal, age 88, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Mountain Home.
He was born April 7, 1924, in Dorsey, Mississippi, to George R. and Genny Mae Turner Brazeal and moved to Mountain Home in 1957 from Blytheville, Arkansas. Mr. Brazeal was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a devoted member of First Assembly of God Church in Mountain Home where he served as a deacon for over 40 years, and a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Chapter #30. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors are his wife, Tressie Chisum Brazeal who he married on December 5, 1987 in Mountain Home; a son: Garry Brazeal: Mountain Home; two daughters: Patricia Ann Ford: Gainesville, Missouri and Donna Lynn (Kirk) Dobstaff: Henderson, Arkansas; brother: Glenn T. Brazeal: Paramount, California; four grandchildren: Les Ford, Brian Ford, Dana Whittaker and Darla Quick; ten great-grandchildren; a stepson: Roger (Debora) Donahue: Anchor Point, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Olivia Brazeal; two brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Monday, May 21, 2012, at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mike Howell officiating. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or First Assembly of God Church.
