Irene Campbell, 94, of Tuckerman died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Michael's Place in Newport, AR.
She was born April 21, 1922, in Guion, AR to Claude and Fannie Belle Costley. She married Millard Daniel ''M.D.'' Campbell on December 25, 1940. They lived and farmed in Cash, AR most of their lives, until they retired and moved to Tuckerman, AR. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, camping and bluegrass music.
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Daniel Campbell; three sisters, Betty Cook, Mildred Hooker and Peggy Strange; three brothers, Byram Costley, Adren Costley and Bill Costley; and her parents, Claude and Fannie Belle Thomas Costley.
Survivors include her husband, Millard Daniel ''M.D.'' Campbell of St. Michael's Place; one brother, Claude Costley of Cherokee Village, AR; two sisters, Claudette Eitel of Hardy, AR and Kimberly Mason of Cherokee Village, AR; three grandchildren, Tracy Kremer-Roach with her husband Paul Roach of Pea Ridge, AR, Dana Cole with her husband Steven Cole of Fort Smith, AR and Clay Campbell of Burbank, CA; and six great-grandchildren, Heather and Tyler Kremer of Pea Ridge, AR and Weston, Sara, Ethan and Maleah Cole of Fort Smith, AR.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro at 11:00am with Reverend Dennis Scudder officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
