Mrs. Mary Pauline Schwarz, 87, of Weiner, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born April 16, 1929 in Weiner to Joseph and Pauline Ritter.
Mary was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker who enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Weiner.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, John and Tom Ritter and a sister Regina Ritter.
Survivors include her husband H. J. Schwarz; two sons, David (Myra) Schwarz of Weiner and Stephen Schwarz of Jonesboro; three daughters, Margie (Ken) Kessler of Towanda, Kansas; Diane (Randy) Jones of Harrisburg and Rita (Dave) Fires of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Ben Ritter of Weiner; and one sister, Clara Blalock of Jonesboro.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 20, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Weiner at 10:00am with Rev. Mike Sinkler officiating. Pallbearers will be Hunter Jones, Ray Michael Jones, Brian Kessler, Brad Schwarz, Michael Schwarz and Paul Schwarz. Honorary Pallbearers are Liz T. Schwarz and Members of St. Anthony's Altar Society. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Weiner.
Visitation will be Friday, August 19, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm.
Lasting memorials may be made to Holy Angel Convent, 1699 Craighead 766, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
