So saddened to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful lady. She taught me a lot in that 5th grade class. We had such a wonderful class too. I hate it that I couldn't attend her services. I had an appt. that I had rescheduled once already because of weather. So I felt I couldn't reschedule again. But I certainly would have loved to see all three of you "kids" and to say goodbye to a great lady. Heaven is a better place with her presence. I know George was glad to see her. God bless all three of you and your families. Please stay in touch. The Weiner Baptist Church has an empty pew that your family used to fill. What wonderful memories.

I will never forget my 5th grade teacher and one that inspired me. She was so kind to me during a year I spent several weeks in the hospital so many years ago. Some teachers stand out and she was one of thiose teachers. Betty, Thomas, and Catherine, you are in my thought and prayers. She was a wonderful lady and I know her influence lives on.
