July 10, 1935 - January 19, 2016

Thalia Delois (Tate) Funchess, 80 of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at St. Bernard's and for the first time she gets to see her father's face. Thalia was born in Bono on July 10, 1935 to Ellis and Zora Garman Tate. She attended Drones Business College and worked for the Phone Company, ADT, McGill's and Wal-Mart where she retired after 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters, Sandra Funchess and Barbie Brown and 9 siblings.

Survivors include, her former husband of 29 years James Funchess; daughters, Cindy Throgmorton of Pocahontas and Susan Hunt of Olive Branch, MS; grandchildren, Katherine Clairday, Timothy Hunt, Taylor Hunt, Dylan Faught, Amanda Tinker and Elise Throgmorton; ten great grandchildren; brother, David Decker; sisters, Tomizine Herring, Lanell Franks and Becky Davison.

Funeral service will Monday, January 25 at 2:00 PM at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30 until time of service. Burial will be private.
