Wishing Verna's family peace. So sorry for the loss of your beloved Verna. I know your hearts are very heavy right now, but in the days to come, your smile will return as you remember the good times you shared with Verna. Please know, you are not alone, for Psalms 46:1 promises, "God is our refuge and strength. A help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. May the marvelous prospect of one day seeing your beloved Verna again, give you hope and bring you peace. For God assures us, "Your Dead Will Live. Awake and shout joyfully, You Residents In The Dust!.." (Isaiah 26:19)

Life like a mist appears for just a day then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away replaced with tears and sorrow. If a girl should die, can she live again, hear the promise God has made. He will call and Verna will answer, she shall live at his command. And she shall live forever as the work of his own hand...So have faith and do not wonder for our God will make her stand, and she shall live forever. By the works of his own hand.......May your family find comfort in knowing that God keeps his promises... (Isaiah 55:11)

You don't get over it,
you just get through it.
You don't get by it,
because you can't get around it.
It doesn't 'get better';
it just gets different.
Everyday...
Grief puts on a new face....

May God hold your family in his arms.
