Marion Leon Peeler, Sr., 66, of Bono, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1949 in Jonesboro to Sam and Martha Peeler. He was a 1969 graduate of Westside High School and had retired from UPS after 35 years of service. He also served in the United States Airforce. He attended Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Peeler enjoyed many things, going to the Bono Senior Citizens Center, playing cards, bingo, learning to dance, travelling, playing on his tractor, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He has been a member of Herman Baptist Church since 1964.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Peeler; his parents, Sam and Martha Peeler; and a son, William ''Coon'' Householder.

He is survived by three sons, Marion ''Leon'' (Brandy) Peeler, Jr., Matt (Amanda) Kirby; Steve (Peggy) Householder; a daughter, Mary L. (Stan) Crawford; nine grandchildren, Kirk Pfeifer, Molly Pfeifer, Caleb Crawford, Felisha Peeler, MaKayla Peeler, Jordan Peeler, Cali Grace Kirby, Sarah Sauser and Steven Garrett Householder; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Levi and Katie Sauser and William ''Will'' Householder, a brother William (Linda) Peeler; a sister, Linda (Cande) Jaramillo; three nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 22 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Derek Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Herman Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Clint McGowan, Wayne Wynn, Nick McGowan, Tony Sauser, Jesse Tate and Brian Sheffield. Honorary bearers will be Bobby Smithee, Brian Haun, Larry Sneed, Jimmy Heritage, Dale McClung, Gary Wilson, David Hanners and all of his UPS co-worker family.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm, Monday, September 21 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Thankful for the peace and healing Marion received upon entering the gates of heaven. No more suffering here on earth. I know he is rejoicing with all his family there.
