Dearest Mrs. Lambie,

Having you and Mr. Lambie for neighbors the last 8 years has been a blessing. We are so very sorry for the loss of a great man. The knowledge of knowing that while David and I worked that if the weather turned bad that they were to go to you. Do you remember the night that I could not find Heath, they were to be home by dark. I called over to your home and Heath and Mr. Lambie was going thru his metals, and he was telling him about his life in the military? I knew if the kids was with the two of you that I had no worries, I knew that they were as safe as if they were with me. I will truly miss his waves from across the street as he would be getting the mail or paper and putting out the trash. It is the simple things in life that touch us, and will forever be missed as Mr. Lambie has closed this chapter of his life and is moved on to the next chapter. With love, The Dotsons.
