Brenda Carol Brooks, 67 of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born August 5, 1947 in Pocahontas to Frankie Smith and Tiny Kerley Davis. Brenda was retired from Center Point Energy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son Derek Vance.
Survivors include, David (Erika) Vance II; grandchildren, Austin Vance and Averie Vance all of Jonesboro.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, December 30 at 10:00 AM, with John Miles officiating.

I mourn your loss. Please know caring thoughts are with you during this time of great sorrow. Brenda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Though its hard to cope with her passing, and the pain seems unbearable, please know you are not alone, for Psalms 46:1 promises, "God is our refuge and strength. A help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength.
Take comfort in the Bible's promise that one day you will see your beloved Brenda again. Jesus promised, "I Am The Resurrection and The Life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, Will Come To Life." (John 11:25)
