June 30, 1940 - December 18, 2014

Bobby Lee Weaver, 74, of Jonesboro, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born June 30, 1940, in England, Ark., to the late Floyd and Mary Lucille Mashburn Weaver. Bobby was retired from AT&T and from the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was also a former Arkansas State Trooper. Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was of the Baptist belief and loved hunting, fishing and computers.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Harry Weaver.

Survivors include his son, Bobby Weaver Jr. of Little Rock; a daughter, Robin and husband, Steve Tidwell of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Melissa and husband, Tim Mayfield of Jonesboro; Stephanie Tidwell of Jonesboro, and Ashley and husband, Josh Anderson of Lake City; a brother, Ricky and wife, Marilyn Weaver of Little Rock; and a sister, Mary Ann and husband, Ronnie Bainter of Vilonia.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Saturday at the Mulberry Cemetery in England under the Direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

No visitation is planned.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Make a Wish Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Robin and precious family, I am so very sorry that I didn't get your message until today, Your telephone number didn't show up on my ID. My thoughts and Prayers are with you today. Bob and I were very good friends, I so miss his calls everyday. He was a awsome person, one that I will truely miss.
May God Bless all of his family.
Robin, always remember, you were a awsome daughter to your Dad, he loved you dearly.
