We are praying for you and your family. John always had a way of making me smile. He was a good person and will be missed. I hope you find some comfort in the many memories you have.
It is a sad day for all of the Flight Service Family and all who knew John. He was truly a good man and while it's been years since we saw him a flood of fond memories are coming back. I mainly knew John as a fellow flight service professional but that brings back social settings as well. May God hold you in his hand and grant you peace.
