Verell Delyode Bowers, age 69, of Jonesboro passed away on July 15, 2012 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born October 23, 1942 in Monette to Verell Luke and Ruth Johnson Bowers.

Verell was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ronald Eugene Bowers.

Survivors include six sons, Robert, Timothy, Skipper, Matthew, Blake and Todd Bowers; a sister, Charlotte Bowers Gerdes and husband, Randal.

A funeral mass will be held 10 am Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro.
