Mr. William Allen Kunst 
August 22, 1936 - May 26, 2012


Mr. William “Allen” Kunst, 75, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born in Berrien County, MI August 22, 1936 to Otto and Helen Kunst. Mr. Kunst was retired from the Whirlpool Corporation and served in the Navy. He was an avid golfer and lover of animals, especially his dog, Molly. Allen never met a stranger, was outgoing and had many friends.

Mr. Kunst was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Jimmie Kathryn Kunst.

He is survived by his loving wife Lavonda Kunst; three daughters, Alana (John) Steffen of Honolulu, HI, Tracy Kunst of Stevensville, MI and Dana (Michael) Cochran of Berrien Center, MI; two step-daughters, Mitzi (Rick) Thomas of Jonesboro and Dena (Tony) Shurley of Blytheville; one step-son, Kevin (Susan) Chadwick of Jonesboro; one sister, Debra (Gregg) Hoag of Lansing, MI; three granddaughters, Amber (Jacob) Karrels, Emily Kunst and Sophie Steffen; one grandson, Chris Cochran; one sister-in-law, Dawanda (Tommy) Carter; one brother-in-law, Ron (Carol) Roy; four step-granddaughters; four step-grandsons, one step-great-grandson.

A Memorial Service will held in Benton Harbor, MI at a later date.

You may leave lasting memorials to the Humane Society, 6011 East Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR 72401 or a charity of your choice.
