L.B. Ryan, 86, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at his residence.

He was born in Slabtown, Arkansas on May 03, 1923 to Arvil and Mamie Elender Coleman Ryan. He was a retired farmer and was a World War II Veteran. He loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Princess Tatum Ryan of the home; one daughter, Nancy Ryan Moore of Marmaduke, AR; one grandson, Reed Ryan Kappelman and two nieces, Joan Ragsdale and Brenda Hamby.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arvil and Mamie Elender Ryan and a brother, Lowin Ryan.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Caldwell Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
