Wayne Bryan Phillips, 74, of Concord, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He was born in Weiner on May 1, 1935, to the late Aubrey "Dutch" Norman and Goldia Johnson Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a retired farmer, a member of Weiner Baptist Church, loved to fish and hunt, and proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He leaves behind a brother, Raymond Phillips and a sister, Lou Jean Manajlovich.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Phillips; a brother, Tommy Phillips and two sisters, Della Craft and June Adams.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Walker Cemetery near Weiner with Mitch Ford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
