Kenneth Heath Bowen

Kenneth Heath Bowen, 28, of Weiner, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009 , at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Jackson County, Arkansas on November 25, 1980, to Kenneth L. Bowen and Anita Bowen Getman. Mr. Bowen was a farmer he loved being around family and farming. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his father and step-mother, Kenneth L and Kathy Bowen; his mother and step-father, Anita and Matt Getman; one daughter, Sadey Ann Bowen; one step brother, Heath Hatcher; one step sister, Holly Jones; and numerous loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Cecil and Clara Mae Bowen; W.J. and Ida Pennington..

Pallbearers will include Andy Latting, Adam Bowen, David Schwarz, Otto Ruesewald, Billy Harris and Justin Best. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Cook and Farrell Hutchins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at First Christian Church beginning at 10:00 a.m., with Ed Johnson and Teddy Rhea, Rev. Don Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Lawn in Tuckerman. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Weiner funeral home.

Lasting memorial may be made to The Spinal Cord Association in Jonesboro or the Weiner Fire Department.
