Virginia Sparrow Parker

Virginia Sparrow Parker 68, of Jonesboro, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Hospice House in Little Rock. She was born on October 6, 1941 in Jonesboro, AR into the family of Louis A. and Bernice L. Parker. She retired from Wal-Mart.

Survivors include four sons, James A. Sparrow, Calvin Sparrow, Randy Sparrow and Bobby Sparrow; one daughter, Peggy Wilson; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Parker; and one sister, Etta Bradley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Cemetery with Kelvin Wilson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. October 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
