Edward Clinton Anderson
Clint Anderson passed away February 12, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born April 15, 1927 in Mt. Ida, Arkansas to Smith and Zorah Anderson. He attended school at Keo and England. In 1942 Clint accepted Jesus as his Savior at a revival service at First Baptist Church of England, Arkansas. He joined the Marine Corps January 10, 1945. He was on his way to Japan to be part of the invasion when the war ended.

On April 25, 1947 Clint married Patsy Parker. They made their home in Sherrill, Arkansas where he farmed for 24 years. He joined First Missionary Baptist Church of Sherrill in 1959 where he was still a member.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsy, of 54 years, his brother, Harold Anderson Sr., sister, Leola Hagerman, brother Darrell Anderson.

He is survived by his daughter Janet Anderson, son Tommy Anderson (Judy), grandchildren, Shannon Rupe (Rosie), Codi Welcher (Glenn), Tara Hallum (Derek), eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at Roller England from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14 followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel at Roller England. Burial will follow at Keo Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Virginia Robinson, Verna Farmer and Dr. Tommy Braswell. They also request that memorials be made to First Missionary Baptist Church of Sherrill or First Baptist Church of England.

He was a man who worked all of his life and was generous to a fault.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your father and Uncle. He has been in my life as long as he has all of you. He and his brother, Harold, were two of the finest People that I have ever had the blessing of knowing and leave the kind of memories that warm the heart.
