My mom Myrae Miller bought a stove from Long time ago and still working
Jim you are in our thoughts and prayers, your dad was a great man in our town he will be missed by many.
I knew William when were in Boot Training with the US navy at Greenbay Wisc. and had visited with him once when I moved to Little Rock in 1975. I considered him as a good friend.
Jim: Your father was a wonderful man. I always enjoyed my.visits with him, especially when he would tell me some of his early electronics stories. I bought my first TV set and first refrigerator from his store. It was an honor to have known him.
Mr. McClanahan was a very generous man, I bought all of my appliances from him when I moved in my own place when I was 20 years old. He gave me an account and (TRUSTED) me to pay him; that I did. It was sad when McClanahan Electric closed....Even more sad, another one of our pillar of the community has left us. Jim you are in my prayers.
Farewell to a wonderful person, I know Mrs. McClanahan is waiting for you. Such a great part of growing up in England.
Have very fond memories of the McClanahans!! There were a staple in England - and we knew we could depend on them. Heaven has gained another good soul!!!! :)
