Dear Phillips family, my mom just told me about your dad's death today. I'm so sorry for you in your loss. What a wonderful man he was! I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for your family. Your dad and mom were so gracious to our family while we lived in Keo so many years ago. They were dear friends of my parents and were so supportive through the years. Darrell, Doyne, Denise, and Dennis, you have been blessed to have such lovely parents, and I pray God's mercy and peace on you as you go through this time of grief.
Dear Mr. James,
Our dad Atticus always held you up as a person he held in the highest regards. Through the years he continued to do this to show Jock and me what a person could be like in this world today. You never failed to let us down. As time passed we patterned our lives like your and Dorothy's in church and community.
We appreciate the fine example of a Christian gentleman you set before us. God will bless you for this.

May fond memories of James bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before he passed away. We have hope and comfort from God's word in Revelation 21:4
My condolences to the Phillips' family. Mr. Phillips was a very fine, Christian man. He was a loyal friend to the Bryant family and did many things for us when my mother died in 1969.
