Merle Dean Huggins, 84, of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Shirley. She was born December 16, 1927 to the late Joshua and Josie (Caldwell) Weaver. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her church family at Tabernacle of Praise Church.
She was proceded in death by husband: C.J. “Tige” Huggins, infant son,and grand-daughter Tonia Selkin.
Survivors include son: Charles wife Mona Huggins; 3 daughters: Judy Simpkins husband Jerry, Marsha Bradley, and Kathy Huggins all of Shirley; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 5-8pm, Monday, April 23, 2012 at Roller McNutt Chapel in Clinton. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Roller McNutt Chapel in Clinton. Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery on Banner Mountain road in Shirley.
