Elizabeth Betty Napier of Sidney, Arkansas, passed away November 1, 2016 in a local hospital. Elizabeth was born in Pima, Arizona on November 21, 1938 to William and Vesta Napier.

She spent her life working as a hostess, nurse's aide, department store clerk, and in a bakery. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, sewing, and spending time with all of her seven children and seventeen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

She is survived by six children, Oval Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky, Debbie Faulkner of Horseshoe Bend, Jerry Napier of Amissville, Virginia, Patricia Norris of Cave City, Jacqueline Beckum of Rosie, and Scottie Napier of Black Oak, Arkansas. She is also survived by two brothers, Ashford Napier of Calico Rock, and Earl Napier of Cave City; and three sisters, Ruby Hicks of Harrison, Glenda Brumfield of Lexington, KY, and Cloe Monk of Crossville, TN.

Gone before Elizabeth, includes her husband whom she enjoyed for 53 years together, Oval Napier; three brothers, Robert, Jasper and Samuel Napier; one sister, Joyce Napier; one son, Ronnie Napier; and her parents, William and Vesta Napier.

Pallbearers will be Chris Norris, Trent Bradley, Kenny Parker, Tony Beckum, Anthony Creasey, and Mike Skinner. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Norris, Jackie Beckum, David Faulkner, and Jerry Allen.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm on Saturday at Maxville Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Betty was in my class in school in Calico Rock in the 50's.
She was such a nice quiet girl and always friendly. I have
