Frank Emmons, 50, of Cave City died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at his home.
He was born August 18, 1958 in Downey, California the son of Gerald Maxham Emmons and Velma Ida (Hensley) Emmons.
Frank loved being there for his family; his nieces and nephews looked to him as a grandfather. He loved his dogs and enjoyed watching boxing, especially Sugar Ray Leonard. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Cave City.
He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Alonzo of Cave City and Vicky Emmons of Anaheim, California; several nieces and nephews: Stephanie Parsons, Joy Alonzo, Michael Alonzo, Richard Alonzo, Shelby Alonzo, Brandi Parker; great-nieces and nephews, Ethan Alonzo, Gavin Alonzo, Noah Brooks, McGregor Parsons, Sadie Vivian Alonzo, Tyler Parker, and Hanna and Haley Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Esther Emmons.
Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Cave City officiated by Richard Alonzo and Jeff Holland.
Cremation services are by Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
