Esther Louise Emmons, 56, of Cave City died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born in Maywood, California on March 26, 1953 and was the daughter of Gerald and Velma (Hensley) Emmons. Esther worked at White Rodgers for 29 years before retiring. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, shopping and going to church. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Cave City. Esther is survived by her daughter, Brandi Parker and her husband, Richard of Lynn; grandchildren: Tyler Parker, Haley Parker and Hanna Parker; brother, Frank Emmons of Cave City; sisters: Elizabeth Alonzo of Cave City and Vicky Emmons of Anaheim, California. Her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Jeff Holland and Bro. Richard Alonzo officiating. Burial will follow the services at Mt. View Cemetery east of Cave City under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin LeBeouf, Chris Chance, Terry Bradley, Jerry Bradley, Richard Alonzo and Kenneth Stewart. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Alonzo, Stephanie Parsons, Joy Alonzo, Shelby Alonzo, Noah Brooks, Ethan Alonzo, Gavin Alonzo, Sadie Alonzo and McGregor Parsons.
