Mildred Moser, 90, of Melbourne died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born Tuesday, September 17, 1918 in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas and was the daughter of William Jackson and Pearl May (Smith) Caraway. Mildred was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by four nieces: Barbara Cheatham of Batesville; Melba Fulbright of Mount Pleasant; Joyce Engles of Jordan, Arkansas; and Carolyn Tate of Kansas City, Missouri; and nephews: George Johnson of Jonesboro; Jeffery Johnson also of Jonesboro; Vann Johnson of Melbourne; Charles Tate of Salem, Oregon; Carl Tate of Wenatchee, Washington; Doyne Tate of Vancouver, Washington; Jim Tate of Wenatchee; and Ronald Moser of Melbourne.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Eldredge Moser; two sisters: Ruth Tate and Vernie Johnson; and two nephews: Marshall Tate and Dexter Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 23 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne with Steve Stevenson officiatineg.
Burial will follow the services at Reeves-Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. of Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Johnson, Bradley Cheatham, Thomas Johnson, Zack Bean, Ronald Moser and Ronald Cheatham.
