Jewell Marie Bray

Jewell Marie Bray, 89, formerly of Mount Pleasant died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Pioneer Nursing Home.
She was born in Gid, Arkansas on Friday, May 9, 1919 and was the daughter of Marion Joseph and Mary Francis Ferguson.
She married her husband, Homer Bray on June 20, 1938 who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Jewell is survived by one sister, Grace Johnson of Mount Pleasant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Chester Ferguson, Vernon Ferguson and Verdell Ferguson; and three sisters: Myrtle Lewis, Ethel Walker and Zelma Alexander.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Brent Ballow officiating.
Burial will follow the services at Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
The body will lie in state at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday until the service at the church.
