James "Pete" Lee Watson

James Lee “Pete” Watson, 71 of Melbourne died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born January 17, 1938 in Parkin, Arkansas, the son of Lee A. Watson and Helen (Young) Watson. He was a construction worker and a member of Local Union 727.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Watson of the home; two daughters, Jodi Frey of Southhaven, Mississippi and Tammy Vernon of Sage, Arkansas; two brothers, Kenneth Watson and Lawrence Watson of Rochelle, Illinois; a sister, Dorothy Leiningen of Rochelle, Illinois; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Flora Louise Roberts.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the home located at HC 77, Box 655 in Melbourne.
Cremation services are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
