August 16, 1935 - August 16, 2018

Teddy William Davis of Little Rock was born August 16, 1935. He went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2018. Teddy was a man of many words and laughs with lots of stories and opinions. He never held back and always told it just like it was. Teddy loved and was loved by his wife, Sibyl.

Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie E. Davis and Mary I. Luck. He is survived by his wife, Sibyl M. Ball; daughter, Lisa A. Dillard (Reginald); son, Chris W. Davis; grandchildren, Reginald II, Patrick, Troy, Raven, Seth and Jaylin; six great-grandchildren; brother, Carol Davis; sisters, Sherry McVay, Sue Osburn, Theresa Hinkson and Paula Fowler; and lots of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Teddy served in the U.S. Army as a tank driver, welder, and retired as a truck driver. In our hearts, he will always be the last true cowboy.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300. Burial will follow at Ida Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m, Saturday, August 18 at the funeral home.

My sweet Uncle will be missed so much by so many. He had so many "favorite" nieces and nephews. But I was his first favorite. I am glad to have had him in my life for 62 years. My favorite thing about him was he didn't take no B.S. off my dad lol. World's best mechanic and world's best welder. And he always made us laugh so much❤

I loved my Uncle Teddy, as did all of my many cousins. He is the first Uncle that I remember as a child. The first one I saw ride a horse and the first one I saw get bucked off a horse. LOL He was always very tender and kind. I don't think I ever heard a harsh word from his mouth that he didn't follow with a laugh. I know that as of yesterday, he got to see his Dad and Mom, (Papa and Nanny). And, together, in heaven, they are waiting on the rest of us. See you soon, Uncle Teddy.
