Sgt. Taylor Wade GrimmettI am a Veteran.

December 15, 1992 - March 11, 2018

Sgt. Taylor Wade Grimmett, age 25, of Paron, Arkansas received his travel orders from Fort Carson, Colorado to Heaven's gate on 11 March, 2018.

Taylor was a soldier in the U.S. Army and his occupation was 12 November Engineer. He loved playing in the dirt, loud trucks, guns and history, especially WWII. Taylor had such a great sense of humor and could have everyone around him laughing in no time at all. He was always a natural born leader since he was a little guy.

Taylor is survived by his wife and love of his life, Shaunee of Illinois; parents, Forrest and Marlana Grimmett of Paron; sister, Emilee Crowder (James) of Vilionia; brother, Garrett Grimmett (Brenda) of Conway; grandparents, Roy and Rosia Grimmett of Paron; aunt, Amanda Enis (Casey) of Conway; uncle, Kevin Mason (Lorri) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; uncle, Allen Grimmett (Deborah) of Paron; two nephews, Caleb Crowder and Noah Crowder of Vilonia; cousins, Alex Mason, Aaron Mason, Ella Mason, Chad Grimmett, Grant Enis, Ryan Enis, and Mason Enis; also his brother from another mother, Jacob Koon. There are so many more as well.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery in Paron.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

God bless you and your family and fellow friends alike. I used to work with Taylor, and I knew his sweet mother from her shopping at the store. I was fortunate enough to visit with him in the last two years when he was home on a brief stint. Everyone really liked him and enjoyed working with him. He had a great sense of humor, a pleasant smile, and boy could he eat. We are all so very proud of him and his service to our country. In time the Lord heals all. This is easier said than done as he will truly be missed.

RIP, Sir! Thank you for your service. God Bless your family and may the wonderful memories you created together be enough to sustain them until see you again, one day in Heaven! ( I did not know you nor your family, but was driving to work yesterday, down I-25, and you were being honored by first responders. It was a refreshing site!). Godspeed!

I can only echo post above. God is indeed still sovereign, today is the hardest day of your life, but the days ahead will hold the better memories of the good times you packed into 25 years. Praying for you all.

May God comfort each of the family members as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death. We did not know Taylor, but we’ve also lost a son who died in a motorcycle-car crash and we cherish his memory just as you do of Taylor. It’s heartbreaking to lose family member especially at a young age. We are of the Christian faith and as we dealt with our pain we came to understand that God is still sovereign.

We’ve found that each person in the families has to grieve in their own way and own time, so we encourage each of you to be aware and allow that in the coming weeks. And also you may not think so in the next few weeks, but as time passes you will be able to think more on the good times that you had together and less about losing this fine young man.
It is always good to hear people remember and name the one you’ve lost. Taylor will not be forgotten by friends and I hope they’ll share their memories of him with you.
