I was in the hospital and missed the memorial and my opportunity to tell Ed goodbye. He was my boss, my mentor and a friend I loved. Steve and I both learned so much from him and talked about it often. I always knew he was there for me and I miss him.
So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at
2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God
Dear Dona, Karla, and Steve,
Rush and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. There are very few people in this world who are as good, kind, honest, and humble as Ed Schulte. He was a role model to all who knew him and will be terribly missed. I learned so much by just being in his presence and have many fond memories of the times we worked together at St. Luke's. What a blessing to have been his friend!
Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
With much love,
Debbie Deacon
Dona and family,

Dona, Steve, and Karla,
Kathy and I are saddened to learn of Ed’s death. It is rare indeed to encounter in life a man as kind and loving as Ed. We feel so priviledged to have been a small part of his life.
Please know that Ed and all of you are in our prayers. May God hold Ed and all of you and your family in the palm of God’s hands.
Rejoicing in Ed’s Life with much love,
Don+
Steve and Karla. Meeting and knowing and working for your Dad was the best experience of my life. He was a fine fair man who made everyone who knew him better for it. So sorry for the loss.
Steve & Karla I have you in my thoughts and prayers. The loss of a parent is a lonely feeling. Yet you will find that he continues to give you guidance daily. Ed was a favorite , always a gentleman and builder of people. My wish for you is that the memories of the good times provide you solace during your period of grief.
Steve and Karla,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a great guy. I remember playing basketball at your house and your Dad's excellent "hook shot". He encouraged me to finish college and changed my life. I know he will be missed by all.
Your friend,
Greg Battisto
Karla, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry to hear of this news. Ed literally crossed my mind Sunday a.m. and I was thinking how he had shaped my career. He was a great guy and I will always remember him. Thoughts and prayers, Steve and Karla!
