Ruth Ann Jack

of Little Rock, AR

February 19, 1943 - November 28, 2017

Ruth Ann Jack died in the home that she loved on November 28, 2017. She was the daughter of Edith Sillin Miller and Richard O. Miller. Ruth Ann was born April 19, 1943. She attended Mt. St. Mary Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas and later the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She became the bride of Donald T. Jack, Jr. on December 21, 1963.

Ruth Ann loved life and making people happy. She could light up a room and charm everyone who knew her with the twinkle in her eye. As a dedicated wife and mother, Ruth Ann supported her husband in his law career and their four children in their many endeavors. She enjoyed art and spent many happy hours painting ceramics and creating pottery. Ruth Ann loved music (especially Neil Diamond) and collected teapots. She knew the answer to most questions anyone would have about the Dallas Cowboys. She loved all holidays and decorating with her amazing shopping finds. Her most endearing quality was being a kind and loving friend and counselor. Her loyalty knew no bounds.

Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Don Jack, Jr. and her four children, Edith Crowell (Mike), Kimberly Marchant, Donald T. Jack, III (Lynnette), and Elisa Godat (Mickey). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Lydia Marrero, Vivian Marrero, Adrienne Crowell, Rebecca Marchant, Jackson Marchant, Donald T. Jack, IV, and Mason Godat.

The family wishes to thank Ruth Ann's dedicated helpers, Dudy Werner, Vernon Jones, Janith Morgane, and Cindy Stewart whose love and care brightened her days.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church on December 4th at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial be made in Ruth Ann's memory to either Mt. St. Mary Academy or the Salvation Army.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one.   Find strength and comfort from God.  At  2 Corinthians  1:3, 4  it describes God as "the God of all comfort who comfort us in all our trials".  This promise assures the family that by turning to God you can receive help during this difficult time.  The  bible also promises that soon death will be no more Revelation 21:3, 4  and the hope of a resurrection John 5:28, 29.
