Dr. Wood was my trusted veterinarian for many years and also a ballroom dancing friend. He was a wonderful doctor and person and will be missed. My prayers are with his family.
We want to send our condolences to the Wood Family. He was the "Father" of our wonderful Yellow Lab, Sylamore, who brought joy and love to our family. Derrell meant so much to us over the years. Our prayers are with all of you at this time.
Our family knew Dr. Wood as both a caring, professional veterinarian and a great football coach for our son Eric. His care for animals was admirable and we took the various dogs and cats we had over the years to Dr. Wood when they needed treatment or yearly exams. As a football coach, he was a caring individual who taught our son and the other boys the correct way to play football so that they would neither injure someone or be injured. He was a great and positive influence on the boys and I watched all of them grow in many ways through his coaching. He was admired as a fine man.
SUSAN & FAMILY MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL AT THIS

Rest In Peace, my Friend.
Our dance friends are fewer and fewer.
You'll be missed.
