Some of my best life memories come from my first meeting with D'Boria in the Baptist ER - as a new hospital sales professional she took me under her wing and we became fast friends. Over the years she continued to inspire me through her words of encouragement, through her actions - loving and caring her others - through her example as Christ's warrior. It is great sadness that Bill and I are honored and blessed to have know D'Boria and her family. She was truly a blessing in our lives and we will miss her. Our heartfelt condolences.

Cornell, Lynn & family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. D'borai made a huge impression on me years ago when I worked with her in the ED. This was during the time she was still faculty for BHSLR & would work extra. I loved her passion for nursing & for patients. She had such knowledge, skills, & so much energy! I told one day that I wished she had been one of my instructors, although I went to UCA. D'borai truly had a servant's heart, just one of the many things we all loved about her. She touched many lives & will truly be missed by all. My prayers & thoughts are with you.

My life has been blessed by knowing D'borai. Her spirit, work ethic, faith, love of family was exemplified in her daily work. She was a perfectionist with a servant's heart. She spoke often of Lynn and the grandchildren. There was always a loving tone and laughter in her voice when speaking of her family. Although she was physically away from you a lot due to her commitment to the healing ministry, you were always with her in her heart and she spoke about you so fondly and often. Thank you for sharing her with the Baptist Health family.

D'borai was more than an instructor to me when I was at Baptist - she was a true mentor and although I was an older student - I looked up to her and we became friends and continued to share moments even after I graduated (since I was employed at Baptist in Little Rock)

She was the type of nurse and person who you wanted to be like.

She held me when I cried and shared my joys as well.

She was a role model of Christian values and she shone with HIS inner light.

She is home now, she is with family, she is at rest, and those who "touched shoulders" with her were enriched by that association.

She will be missed I am certain, but she is being embraced by her Father whose love and behavior she exemplified in all manner of her interactions with those she came in contact with; especially me whose has thought of her with fond memories over these past years even though we lost contact.
Rest sweet, sweet D'borai...

I remember her as Mrs. Cook. She was one of my Critical Instructors at Baptist Health. I can remember during one of her lectures she told us, "If I come up on you in a wreck and you don't have your seat belt on. I will leave." She had a passion for her profession. She was a great instructor, someone to look up to and a great professional. I talked to years later while she was back to working in the ER, it was like talking to an friend. She was an inspiration to others, great role model, loving and compassionate. She will missed by many. Thank you, Mrs Cook for being a great example of what each of need to achieve to be.

She was a true Catholic Lady who loved her family. Rest assured that she is now in Heaven with her beloved son, Brendan. I remember attending his funeral in 1994.
